INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 Cup packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup packed Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Margarine or Butter, softened
  • 1/3 Cup Shortening
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Package (8 ounces) candy-coated chocolate candies

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix sugars, margarine/butter, shortening, vanilla and egg.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake until light brown, about 8-10 minutes. (centers will be soft)
  6. Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet. 
  7. Enjoy!
